Recipe for a fantastic Birthday.....

March 9th was my birthday and I turned 28 years young.
Here is what I did (a recipe for a lovely low-key birthday)

First get a loaf of crusty garlic bread. So garlicky in fact that there is visible chunks of garlic in it.
This will be used for breakfast, because its your birthday and you are allowed to stink.

Scramble yourself up some eggs, if you have truffle oil,
dribble a little on top along with some grated asiago...
I do not have truffle oil so instead I will be bitterly jealous if you do.

Enjoy a cupcake
Proceed to insanely crowded St Lawrence market to pick up some fish....

Bust out your vintage fur coat, because its your birthday and you can.

Proceed to hyperventilate because market is so crowded that you cant move....
get in car, (without fish) have a mini meltdown.
Proceed to Cheese Boutique to make up for it. Fish will be replaced with cheese.
I think they want you to know the cheese is 13 bucks.

Deciding on a cheese is an intense nail-biting experience....
the kind of intensity that could be akin to playing an intense game of 'Times Up'

Settle on some 'big ed' cheese ( a delicious smooth yet hard, strong cheese)

"Hey Rachie should we get some truffle oil?"
"Twenty five bucks?! Nah I'm good"
